For comparison: registered herbal capsules from Kedi, Norland and the imported brands run from ₦8,000 to ₦35,000, and most of those are made in China or the United States. Siloam is Nigerian herbs, NAFDAC registered, at half the price of the cheapest of them.

benefits · what the label says

Four claims. No more.

These are the exact words on our NAFDAC-registered label. We do not say anything stronger than them, and if a product has to overpromise to sell, that tells you something.

  • Supportive in the management of high blood pressure

Moringa’s quercetin and chlorogenic acid have drawn research attention for their roles in supporting blood pressure maintenance.

  • Helps maintain a healthy blood sugar level

Bitter Leaf carries vernodalin, saponins and flavonoids, studied in Nigerian and international journals for supporting metabolic health.

  • Helps maintain a healthy cholesterol range

The two herbs together cover more ground than either does alone — which is why the ratio is 50/50 and printed on the pack.

  • May provide immune system support

Moringa is rich in vitamins A, C and E, calcium, potassium and plant protein. That nutrient density sits behind this claim.

Dietary supplement. Not intended as medical treatment. It is something you take alongside what your doctor has given you, not instead of it.

Did you know

Two plants your grandmother already knew

Both grow in Nigeria. Both have been eaten here for generations. We put them in a capsule so the dose is the same every day.

50% EACH, PER CAPSULE
Bitter leaf shrub in flower, its broad green leaves catching the light

Ewuro · Onugbu · Shuwaka

Bitter Leaf

Vernonia amygdalina

Carries vernodalin, saponins and flavonoids.

  • Despite the name, it is no relation of lettuce — it belongs to the daisy family.
  • Cooks rinse the leaves again and again to soften the bitterness before they go into onugbu soup.
  • The shrub reaches three metres and grows in compounds across the south.
Dense moringa foliage, its small round leaflets layered along fine stems

Ewe ìgbàlè · Okwe oyibo · Zogale

Moringa

Moringa oleifera

Rich in vitamins A, C and E, calcium, potassium and plant protein.

  • Known as the drumstick tree, after its long ridged pods.
  • Push a cut branch into the ground and it takes root — which is why it is also called the never-die tree.
  • Leaves, pods, seeds and flowers are all eaten.

We do not take payment on delivery. Payment is what confirms your order and starts the 24-hour clock — it also gives you an order number and a record, so if anything goes wrong you are covered. Card, transfer and USSD all work, and you can pay by bank transfer if you would rather not use a card.

faq · straight answers

Questions people actually ask.

  • How much is it?

Siloam Herbal Capsule is ₦4,000 per pack, whether you order from us or buy from a Siloam Root. Pharmacies buy their stock from us and set their own counter price, so a pharmacy may charge a little more or less.

One pack is 30 capsules, which is 7 to 8 days at the recommended dose of two capsules twice daily after meals. A month’s supply is four packs at ₦16,000, and we deliver that free anywhere in Lagos.

  • Why ₦4,000? I have seen bitter leaf powder in the market for ₦500.

That is a fair question, and the honest answer is that they are two different things.

Market powder has no fixed dosage, no expiry date, no registration and no way to know how it was dried or stored. You are trusting habit.

Siloam is NAFDAC registered (A7-103377L), made in a proper facility in Ilorin, with a stated 50/50 ratio, a batch number and a verification code on every pack. And you swallow two capsules instead of spending an hour washing and boiling leaves.

You are paying for standardisation and convenience — not for the leaf.

  • What does it do?

Siloam Herbal Capsule carries four claims, and these are exactly what is printed on the NAFDAC-registered label — supportive in the management of high blood pressure, helps maintain a healthy blood sugar level, helps maintain a healthy cholesterol range, and may provide immune system support.

It is two herbs only — Bitter Leaf and Moringa, 50/50, nothing else added.

Dietary supplement. Not intended as medical treatment.

  • Is this a medicine?

No — and we would not want to tell you otherwise.

Siloam is a dietary supplement. What the label says is that it helps maintain a healthy blood sugar level and is supportive in the management of high blood pressure. That means it is something you take alongside what your doctor has given you, not instead of it.

Please keep working with your doctor. Many of our customers take Siloam as the daily habit that sits alongside their doctor’s plan.

Dietary supplement. Not intended as medical treatment.

  • Can pregnant women, nursing mothers or children take it?

No. The label is explicit: not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers or children.

We will not sell it for that use, and we would rather lose the sale than have you take something that is not intended for you right now.

  • How do I take it?

Two capsules twice daily, after meals — two after breakfast, two after dinner.

After food, not before. With a full glass of water.

Consistency matters more than anything else with herbal support. Same time, every day.

  • Is it NAFDAC registered?

Yes. NAFDAC Reg No: A7-103377L, printed on every single pack.

It is produced for Davdeb Nigeria Enterprises in Ilorin, Kwara State, and the company address is printed on the label too — we are not hiding behind a PO box.

Every pack also carries a unique verification code you can check yourself on this website to confirm it is authentic.

  • How do I buy it?

Two ways. You can order right here at ₦4,000 a pack and have it delivered — Lagos orders confirmed before 2pm usually arrive the same day, often within a few hours, and later orders arrive the next morning. Delivery is free on four packs and above; below that there is a delivery charge that depends on your area, and we show you the exact figure before you pay.

Or you can walk into one of our stocked pharmacies and buy it over the counter — use the pharmacy finder to see the nearest ones.

  • Do you deliver? How long does it take?

Yes. Within Lagos we dispatch from our store in Ojodu — orders confirmed before 2pm usually arrive the same day, often within a few hours, and later orders arrive the next morning.

Delivery is free on orders of four packs and above — the month’s supply. Below four packs there is a delivery charge that depends on your area, and you will see the exact figure before you pay, never after.

If one of our Roots covers your neighbourhood, she can also bring it to you herself.

  • I am not in Lagos. Can I still buy?

At the moment our delivery network covers Lagos, as we are building out pharmacy by pharmacy.

Tell us where you are, though — we are expanding, and in some cases we can still arrange something for you. Call 09070097617 and we will tell you exactly what we can do for your area.

  • What are Siloam Seeds?

Siloam Seeds is our loyalty programme, and it is simple.

You earn 10 Seeds on every pack you buy, plus 10 extra on your very first purchase, plus 5 for verifying your pack, plus 20 if you refer a friend who buys.

Each Seed is worth ₦5. At 50 Seeds you can take ₦250 off your next order. At 100 you can claim a Siloam tote bag, at 200 a T-shirt, and at 400 a completely free pack.

Nothing to sign up for — your WhatsApp number is your account.
