Price and value
How much is it?+
Siloam Herbal Capsule is ₦4,000 per pack, whether you order from us or buy from a Siloam Root. Pharmacies buy their stock from us and set their own counter price, so a pharmacy may charge a little more or less.
One pack is 30 capsules, which is 7 to 8 days at the recommended dose of two capsules twice daily after meals. A month’s supply is four packs at ₦16,000, and we deliver that free anywhere in Lagos.
Why ₦4,000? I have seen bitter leaf powder in the market for ₦500.+
That is a fair question, and the honest answer is that they are two different things.
Market powder has no fixed dosage, no expiry date, no registration and no way to know how it was dried or stored. You are trusting habit.
Siloam is NAFDAC registered (A7-103377L), made in a proper facility in Ilorin, with a stated 50/50 ratio, a batch number and a verification code on every pack. And you swallow two capsules instead of spending an hour washing and boiling leaves.
You are paying for standardisation and convenience — not for the leaf.
Is there a better deal if I buy more?+
The price stays ₦4,000 a pack, but buying the month’s supply does save you money in practice.
Four packs is ₦16,000 and delivery is free — below four packs there is a delivery charge, so the month’s supply effectively saves you the delivery on every order. It also means you do not run out halfway through, which is the thing that actually breaks people’s routine.
For larger quantities — 20 packs and above, or for a workplace or family group — talk to us and we will get you a proper figure rather than guess.
What it is
What does it do?+
Siloam Herbal Capsule carries four claims, and these are exactly what is printed on the NAFDAC-registered label — supportive in the management of high blood pressure, helps maintain a healthy blood sugar level, helps maintain a healthy cholesterol range, and may provide immune system support.
It is two herbs only — Bitter Leaf and Moringa, 50/50, nothing else added.
Dietary supplement. Not intended as medical treatment.
What is bitter leaf good for?+
Bitter Leaf — Vernonia amygdalina, ewúro in Yoruba — is one of the most widely used plants in southern Nigeria. Most people met it first in their grandmother’s kitchen, not in a pharmacy.
It contains bioactive compounds including vernodalin, saponins and flavonoids, which have been studied in Nigerian and international journals for their roles in supporting metabolic and cardiovascular health.
In Siloam we do not add anything to it. We concentrate it and put it in a capsule so you get the same amount every single day.
What is moringa good for?+
Moringa — Moringa oleifera — is one of the most nutrient-dense plants grown anywhere in Africa. It is rich in vitamins A, C and E, calcium, potassium and plant protein.
Its compounds, including quercetin and chlorogenic acid, have drawn research attention for their roles in supporting blood pressure and blood sugar maintenance.
That nutrient density is also why moringa sits behind the immune support claim on our label.
Why put the two together?+
Because they cover different ground.
Bitter Leaf leans toward metabolic and liver support. Moringa brings nutrient density and anti-inflammatory properties. Put together at 50/50, they cover the four claims on our label without leaning too hard on either herb.
The ratio is not decoration — it is printed on the label and it is the same in every pack, every batch.
Is there anything else inside? Preservatives? Chemicals?+
No. Two ingredients only — Vernonia amygdalina 50% and Moringa oleifera 50%.
No proprietary blend, no undisclosed fillers, no added sugar, no preservatives. That is why we print the exact ratio on the front of the pack rather than hiding behind the words “herbal blend”.
Safety
Is this a medicine?+
No — and we would not want to tell you otherwise.
Siloam is a dietary supplement. What the label says is that it helps maintain a healthy blood sugar level and is supportive in the management of high blood pressure. That means it is something you take alongside what your doctor has given you, not instead of it.
Please keep working with your doctor. Many of our customers take Siloam as the daily habit that sits alongside their doctor’s plan.
Dietary supplement. Not intended as medical treatment.
Can I stop my blood pressure medication and take this instead?+
Please do not. We want to be very clear about this.
Siloam is a supplement. It does not replace what your doctor has prescribed, and stopping prescribed medicine without your doctor’s guidance can be dangerous.
Take Siloam as daily support alongside your doctor’s plan, and keep every appointment you already have.
I am on medication for diabetes. Is it safe to take together?+
For anyone already on prescribed medicine, the right person to clear this with is your doctor or pharmacist — they know your full history and can advise properly.
What we can tell you is exactly what is in it, so you can show them: Bitter Leaf (Vernonia amygdalina) 50% and Moringa (Moringa oleifera) 50%, two capsules twice daily after meals. NAFDAC Reg No: A7-103377L.
Are there side effects?+
Siloam is a plant-based dietary supplement taken after meals, and most people take it without any trouble.
As with any supplement, some people may notice mild digestive changes when starting — which is why the instruction is to take it after food, not on an empty stomach.
If you ever feel unwell after taking it, stop and speak to a doctor or pharmacist, and please tell us on 09070097617.
Can pregnant women, nursing mothers or children take it?+
No. The label is explicit: not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers or children.
We will not sell it for that use, and we would rather lose the sale than have you take something that is not intended for you right now.
How to take it
How do I take it?+
Two capsules twice daily, after meals — two after breakfast, two after dinner.
After food, not before. With a full glass of water.
Consistency matters more than anything else with herbal support. Same time, every day.
How long does one pack last?+
One pack is 30 capsules. At the recommended dose of four a day, that is 7 to 8 days.
So a full month is four packs — ₦16,000 with free delivery. Most of our regular customers order that way so they never run out halfway through, because a broken routine is the main reason people stop seeing the benefit of any supplement.
How soon will I see results?+
Honestly? It depends on the person, and we will not give you a number we cannot stand behind.
What we can tell you is what our customers pay attention to. Around week one, some notice steadier afternoon energy — that is usually the moringa. From week two onward, if you are tracking your blood pressure or sugar, watch the trend across the month rather than any single day’s reading.
Herbal support is a long game. Consistency is what makes the difference.
How should I store it? What about expiry?+
Store in a cool, dry place below 30 degrees, away from children. Not in a hot car and not on a sunny windowsill.
Every pack carries a batch number, a manufacture date and an expiry date printed on the label — please check them when your pack arrives.
Trust and authenticity
Is it NAFDAC registered?+
Yes. NAFDAC Reg No: A7-103377L, printed on every single pack.
It is produced for Davdeb Nigeria Enterprises in Ilorin, Kwara State, and the company address is printed on the label too — we are not hiding behind a PO box.
Every pack also carries a unique verification code you can check yourself on this website to confirm it is authentic.
How do I check my pack is real?+
Every pack has a verification code on it. Enter it at siloamherbal.com/verify, or send it to us on WhatsApp with #VERIFY in front of it.
We will confirm immediately whether it is authentic, and you earn 5 Siloam Seeds for checking.
If a code comes back as already scanned, tell us straight away — that is how we catch counterfeits.
Who makes it? Where is it from?+
Siloam is produced for Davdeb Nigeria Enterprises in Ilorin, Kwara State — in the middle of Nigeria’s herbal knowledge corridor.
The herbs are Nigerian. The formulation is Nigerian. The registration is Nigerian. Unlike most of the imported supplements on the same shelf, this is genuinely made here.
Is this an MLM or a scheme?+
No. There is no joining fee, no recruitment ladder and nothing to buy in to.
Siloam is a NAFDAC-registered supplement sold in pharmacies and delivered by neighbourhood marketers we call Roots. A Root earns a flat ₦400 on each pack she sells — that is it. No downlines, no packages, no monthly quota to keep your position.
If someone tells you differently, they are not describing Siloam.
Ordering and delivery
How do I buy it?+
Two ways. You can order right here at ₦4,000 a pack and have it delivered — Lagos orders confirmed before 2pm usually arrive the same day, often within a few hours, and later orders arrive the next morning. Delivery is free on four packs and above; below that there is a delivery charge that depends on your area, and we show you the exact figure before you pay.
Or you can walk into one of our stocked pharmacies and buy it over the counter — use the pharmacy finder to see the nearest ones.
Do you deliver? How long does it take?+
Yes. Within Lagos we dispatch from our store in Ojodu — orders confirmed before 2pm usually arrive the same day, often within a few hours, and later orders arrive the next morning.
Delivery is free on orders of four packs and above — the month’s supply. Below four packs there is a delivery charge that depends on your area, and you will see the exact figure before you pay, never after.
If one of our Roots covers your neighbourhood, she can also bring it to you herself.
How do I pay?+
Card, bank transfer or USSD through a secure payment page — or a direct transfer to our bank account if you prefer, using your order number as the narration.
Once payment confirms, your delivery is on its way and you get a confirmation with your order number.
Is it pay on delivery?+
Not at the moment — payment comes first, and there is a good reason for it.
Payment is what triggers dispatch and locks in your 24-hour delivery. It also gives you an order number and a record, so if anything goes wrong you are covered.
You can pay by transfer if you would rather not use a card.
I am not in Lagos. Can I still buy?+
At the moment our delivery network covers Lagos, as we are building out pharmacy by pharmacy.
Tell us where you are, though — we are expanding, and in some cases we can still arrange something for you. Call 09070097617 and we will tell you exactly what we can do for your area.
Can I buy for my mother who lives elsewhere?+
Yes, and many of our customers do exactly that.
If she is in Lagos, give us her name, phone number and address and we will deliver directly to her. You pay, she receives it.
